How credits map to a print file
Every paid action on PrintMesh is a generation, and every generation spends credits. Standard costs 1 credit, High costs 2, and Ultra costs 3. You pick the tier before the mesh is built. A higher tier asks the model for more detail from the same photo. It does not slice the file, add supports, or promise that the STL will print on the first try. Download GLB to preview, OBJ when you want to edit, and STL when you are ready for Cura, PrusaSlicer, or Bambu Studio.
Free is $0 and includes 10 credits every month. Use them to learn the upload, preview, and download loop. Free downloads carry a watermark. Starter is $9 a month with 100 credits, for a hobbyist printing a few models a month. Pro is $19 a month with 300 credits, for someone generating often or sharing files with a small team. Unlimited is $49 a month for studios that do not want to watch a credit balance. Paid plans download without the watermark.
Monthly credits reset at the start of the next billing cycle. They do not roll over, so a quiet month does not bank credits for a busy one. If you are comparing plans, start on Free, generate one mesh, and open the STL in your slicer before you subscribe. The terms of service state the account and credit rules. Cancel from the billing page inside your account, or from the Paddle customer portal linked in the how-to-cancel section below. Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not delete models you already downloaded. If a charge is wrong, or a generation failed and the credit did not return, contact support with the account email and the approximate time of the job.
Unlimited is fair use: built for normal studio workflows with up to 2 generations running at once. Automated or bulk generation is not allowed, and Ultra generations are subject to fair-use limits.
How to cancel or manage your subscription
Paid plans are billed through Paddle (our Merchant of Record). You can cancel anytime—use the same path in the app every time, or the link in your Paddle emails.
- Sign in and go to Account → Billing.
- Click "Manage subscription" — this opens Paddle's secure customer portal.
- Pick "Cancel subscription" in the portal. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.
- You'll get a confirmation email from Paddle. Reply to that email if you need anything else.
