Privacy Policy

When you create an account via Clerk, we store your email address and a unique user identifier. When you upload images, we process them through fal.ai and store the resulting 3D models in Vercel Blob storage. We also store the plan you are on, your credit balance, and the status of each generation so you can download the mesh again from history.

If you consent, PostHog records product events such as uploads and downloads, and Google Analytics records how you reached the marketing site. Sentry receives error reports so we can fix broken generations. Those tools are off for analytics and marketing until you accept the matching category in the cookie banner. Necessary cookies for sign-in stay on because the app cannot keep you logged in without them.

We use your data to provide the image-to-3D conversion service, manage your subscription and credits, and improve the product. A generation needs the uploaded image, the quality tier you picked, and your user id so the finished GLB, OBJ, or STL can be saved to your account. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your uploads to train a public model of our own.

Billing runs through Paddle, the merchant of record. Paddle handles the card payment, the invoice, and the tax calculation. PrintMesh receives the plan name, the subscription status, and a customer id so we can grant the monthly credits. We do not store your full card number.

These sub-processors process personal data for PrintMesh. Each one handles a specific part of the service, and we do not send your account data to anyone else to operate the product.

Clerk provides authentication and user management. fal.ai runs the image-to-3D generation. Vercel Blob stores uploaded images and the resulting model files. Paddle is the payment processor and merchant of record for paid plans. PostHog provides product analytics when you consent. Google Analytics provides traffic measurement when you consent. Sentry provides error monitoring.

We use necessary cookies for authentication and site functionality. Analytics and marketing cookies are only activated with your explicit consent via our cookie banner. You can change that choice later from the cookie settings link in the banner. Rejecting analytics does not block uploads, generations, or downloads.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@printmesh.app. We will respond within 30 days. Include the email on the account so we can find the right record.

You can also delete the account from the product settings. When you delete your account, uploaded images and generated models tied to that account are permanently removed within 30 days. Files you already downloaded to your computer stay on your computer. We cannot delete those copies.

Uploaded images and generated models are retained as long as your account is active. We keep them so history and repeat downloads work. If a generation fails before a file is stored, we do not keep a partial mesh. Server logs used to debug errors are kept only as long as we need them to fix the fault.
